Sustainable Agriculture at Altitude – Our Eco-Commitment

High-altitude farming comes with its challenges—but also incredible rewards. At Rupakot Multipurpose Rural Farm, we’ve embraced these challenges by committing to sustainable agriculture that honors both nature and future generations.

Farming in the hills of Khotang requires innovation. Harsh weather, remote access, and limited infrastructure could discourage many, but we see opportunity. Our team utilizes eco-friendly tools, permaculture principles, and waste-reducing practices to make sure every seed we plant contributes to a healthier planet.

We’re particularly proud of our zero-chemical approach and the use of indigenous seeds, which are naturally suited to the climate and preserve Nepal’s agricultural heritage. These practices not only produce better crops but protect the biodiversity of our region.

Sustainability isn’t a trend for us—it’s a responsibility. At Rupakot, we’re growing more than food. We’re cultivating a future where nature and community thrive together.
